*Philander Begay is an award winning contemporary jeweler, including a 1st place award from the Heard Museum. He hails from a family of noted Native American jewelers. Influenced by Bobby, Tim and Kenneth Begay as well as his brother Darryl Dean. His works often highlight Navajo culture and symbolism, working in inlay and tufacast with the incorporation of luscious stones. Born in 1982, Philander Begay has become a highly collectible artist.
Excellent condition: The piece is in near new condition with no visible damage or signs of wear. The turquoise and silver, are all intact and the stone shows no signs of non natural cracks.
